How to Customise Your Chat Widget Branding

Summary

The Branding tab in the Playground lets you personalise the look and feel of your Grevon AI chat widget to match your property or brand identity. You can set your bot’s name, upload logos, write a custom welcome message, and add starter suggestions that guide guests when they first open the chat.

Where to find it

From the left-hand navigation menu, go to Playground, then click the Branding tab. Any changes you make are reflected instantly in the Live Widget Preview panel on the right, so you can see exactly how your widget will look to guests before saving.

Branding Fields Explained

Bot Logo — Upload your property or brand logo (up to 1 image). This appears inside the chat window as the bot’s avatar, giving the widget a branded, professional appearance.

FAB Icon — Upload the icon that appears on the floating action button (FAB) — the small button that guests click to open the chat. If left blank, the default Grevon icon is used. Accepts 1 image.

Bot Name — The display name shown at the top of the chat window. This is how the AI assistant will introduce itself to guests. Example: Trinity, Aria, Assist.

Greeting Title — The bold headline guests see when they first open the chat. Keep it short and welcoming. Example: Let’s get started.

Greeting Subtitle — A short supporting line that appears below the Greeting Title. Use it to set expectations or inspire action. Example: Find your perfect stay.

Starter Suggestions — A set of pre-written prompts shown to guests as clickable chips when they open the chat. These help guests get started quickly without having to think of a question. You can add up to 10 suggestions. Example suggestions include: Stays in Ulladulla, Pet friendly accommodation, Explore Horsham.

How to Set Up Your Branding

  1. In the left-hand navigation, go to Playground and click the Branding tab.

  2. Upload your Bot Logo by clicking the upload area under Bot Logo. Your image should be square or close to square for best display results. You can upload one image (max 1).

  3. Optionally upload a FAB Icon — this is the small icon on the floating button guests see on your website. If you skip this, the default Grevon logo will be used.

  4. Enter a Bot Name in the text field. This is the name your AI assistant will display to guests (e.g. Trinity).

  5. Enter a Greeting Title — the main headline guests see when they open the chat (e.g. Let’s get started).

  6. Enter a Greeting Subtitle — a short supporting sentence below the title (e.g. Find your perfect stay).

  7. Add Starter Suggestions by typing a suggestion into the text field and pressing the + button. Add up to 10 suggestions. To remove one, click the × next to it.

  8. Check the Live Widget Preview on the right to see how your changes look in real time.

  9. Click Save to apply your branding changes.

FAQs

Below are common questions about the Branding tab. If your question isn’t answered here, please contact Grevon support.
